For the past 14 years. Since my early start as a science, English & Social Studies teacher, I have demonstrated an impactful drive to develop my students’ scientific skills and to promote critical thinking as a crucial asset that enables learners to cope with the 21st century requirements. I am a hard- worker who is willing to take on board new challenges to impart instructions and secure an excellent learning environment. Most aspects of my teaching are innovative; instruction, assessment, interaction, communication, documentation and classroom management are just some areas of my expertise as far as teaching is concerned.

Work Experience

As an English teacher, residing in the country of Qatar for more than 14 years, I have been involved with teaching British English Curriculum with different schools in Qatar.

My main goal is to make my students responsible for their own learning, motivated and encouraged to do their best and extend their own personal limits. I devise lesson plans, according to syllabus requirements, that expand on previous knowledge and encourage students to explore new and interesting possibilities. I encourage students to construct their own learning in an environment that stimulates and helps students to realise their full potential.
I have had some excellent results with students with a history of low achievement. I strive to instill a love of learning and to make learning exciting and interesting.

Education / Training

I have done masters in Arts (English literature) and B.Ed. in Secondary education.
