Emma Palastanga is an author and educator. She currently works as a primary teacher part time, alongside this she quality assures the provision for Early Career Teachers with the National Institute for Teaching and Education. She is also a tutor 1:1 when not in class and spends time promoting her new book.
Emma Palastanga is an author and educator. She currently works as a primary school teacher. The post before this was Lead Teacher of a large nursery for 2-4 year olds in a historic port town. Prior to this she was Deputy Head in a village primary school. She is a qualified teacher with over 20 years classroom experience and 10 years as a school leader. She has a Master's degree in education as well as further leadership qualifications including the NPQH. Her role included curriculum development overview and specific subject leader roles including Science, PSHCE and championing provision for those with 'High Learning Potential'. She has also worked within a Local Collaborative Trust to improve the quality of Science teaching and learning. She has experience of monitoring the quality of teaching and learning and pupil outcomes in a range of schools as well as carrying out staff appraisals. She has been subject to enhanced DBS disclosures.
